This study addresses the current problem of optimizing logistics management under modern market requirements. Using the example of the transport company Summit Logistics LLP, systematic deficiencies in fleet management leading to significant economic losses are analyzed. The methodological basis of the research comprises the analysis of enterprise operational data, comparative evaluation of technological solutions, and economic justification for their implementation.
The approach is based on an integrated concept involving the implementation of two complementary technological solutions. The introduction of satellite monitoring systems ensures complete operational control over vehicle movements, enabling route optimization and improved transportation discipline. The parallel use of an automated fuel monitoring system (FMS) creates an effective mechanism for managing the main operational cost item, minimizing the risks of resource misuse. Important practical significance lies in the detailed calculation of investment costs and economic efficiency of the proposed measures. The conducted analysis demonstrates not only the technical feasibility of the project but also its financial justification for medium-sized enterprises.
The results confirm that the strategic implementation of digital management tools creates fundamentally new opportunities for enhancing operational transparency and strengthening competitive positions in the transport services market. The proposed model can be adapted for other enterprises in the industry facing similar logistics optimization challenges.
