Abstract

The article considers the economic aspects of organic production of grain crops in the conditions of the agrarian regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the context of the transformation of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the strengthening of environmental safety requirements for agricultural production, the development of organic farming is of particular importance. Kazakhstan has significant potential for the production of organic grain products due to the presence of extensive agricultural land, a relatively low level of chemical farming and favorable climatic conditions in a number of agricultural regions. The features of the formation of costs and financial results when using organic farming technologies are analyzed. The impact of organic production on the cost, profitability and economic stability of grain farms is estimated. The main factors determining the economic feasibility of introducing organic farming have been identified, including the yield level, the structure of production costs, the price premium for organic products and the cost of certification. Based on the analysis, the directions of increasing the economic efficiency of organic grain production are substantiated, taking into account the regional specifics of Kazakhstan. The results obtained can be used in the practical activities of agricultural producers, as well as in the development of programs for the development of organic agriculture.
